We are pleased to have with us once again young soprano Harriet Eyley from Blackfordby. Harriet has won many awards including local Burton & District Arts Council Bursary Scheme. Obviously destined for a bright future we wish her all the very best. You must come and see her perform, we know you will not be disappointed.

Sat 7 March 2009 - Orchid Charity Concert at St. Peter's Parish Church, Stapenhill 7.30pm

Orchid is the only UK registered cancer charity to focus on the male-specific cancers; prostate, penile and testicular. Judy Cockayne together with a friend have commited to raise £1200 each for this charity. They have volunteered to take part in the OrchidCycle from London to Paris between 3rd and 6th September to raise funds. Please come along and give your support to this very worthwhile cause.

On this occasion we have been invited to join Swadlincote Messiah Choral Society together with other choirs on behalf of Treetops Hospice. You must agree this is a most worthy cause. Please give us your support. The venue for this concert is The Pingle School, Swadlincote and performance starts at 7.00pm.
