Sat 31 October 2009 - GMVC Celebrity Concert
This is our annual Celebrity Concert to be held at Burton Town Hall. Performance commences 7.15pm. This year we have Mark le Brocq, Tenor as our Celebrity Artiste. Mark studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Kenneth Bowen and later continued at the National Opera Studio.
We also have young local Soprano Artiste, Harriet Eyley joining us. Harriet, after winning several awards at the 'David Clover Competition for Singers' at Sheffield, has since been offered an 'Intermediate Placement' at the Royal Academy of Music, London. This has only been offered twice before in the last 25 years.
Tickets will be priced at £10 and will be available shortly.
