Sun 27 September 2009 - South Derbyshire & District Chairman's Charity Concert with Masson Mill Band and Local Junior School Choirs
The venue is Bretby Conference Centre, Burton on Trent and performance starts at 7.00pm. The Chairman's Charity this year is St. Giles Hospice and South Derbyshire Scouts.
This is a late booking for us, but only too pleased to be able to fulfill the invitation to join Masson Mill Band and children from Belmont Primary, Eureka Primary and St Edwards Primary schools in what should be a most memorable evening's entertainment. Having performed throughout most of Derbyshire, this is the first opportunity the band have had to play in South Derbyshire.
Tickets on sale at the Swadlincote Council Offices, Bretby Conference Centre, St Giles Hospice, St Giles Hospice shop in Midland Road, Swadlincote and any choir member.
Prices £10.00 Adults
£7.50 concessions (over 60's and under 16's)
£30 Family (2 adults and 2 children)

Sat 31 October 2009 - GMVC Celebrity Concert
This is our annual Celebrity Concert to be held at Burton Town Hall. Performance commences 7.15pm. This year we have Mark le Brocq, Tenor as our Celebrity Artiste. Mark studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Kenneth Bowen and later continued at the National Opera Studio.
We also have young local Soprano Artiste, Harriet Eyley joining us. Harriet, after winning several awards at the 'David Clover Competition for Singers' at Sheffield, has since been offered an 'Intermediate Placement' at the Royal Academy of Music, London. This has only been offered twice before in the last 25 years.
Tickets will be priced at £10 and will be available shortly.

We have been invited to perform for the Netherseal Rockwood Club in celebration of their 40th anniversary. This will take place at the Netherseal Village Hall.
